The feature “Too young to be old” was produced by Bagabaga Studios and made into a report by Divergente, between September 2019 and March 2020. The documentary was inspired by the book A Miséria do Tempo - Vidas Suspensas pelo Desemprego [The Misery of Time - Lives Suspended by Unemployment], which arose from the activities of the “EmployALL - The crisis of employment and the Welfare State in Portugal: halting the proliferation of social vulnerabilities and inequalities” project, (reference PTDC/SOC-SOC/30543/2017), coordinated by Renato Miguel do Carmo and funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology using national funds.
